This heat can accelerate chemical reactions within the battery, leading to faster degradation over time. 

Slow Charging 

Level 2 chargers are the slow chargers used for charging an EV. They are commonly opted for regular overnight home charging. It normally takes 4-10 hours to fully charge an EV with these slow chargers. They generate less heat, promoting a gentler charging process that is considered better for long-term battery health.
